ترجمہ: اور زمین پر اکڑ کر مت چل کہ تو زمین کو پھاڑ تو نہیں ڈالے گا اور نہ لمبا ہو کر پہاڑوں (کی چوٹی) تک پہنچ جائے گا۔
Translation: And do not walk on the earth with pride, for you cannot pierce the earth, nor can you reach the height of the mountains.
اللہ تعالی نے انسان کو ہدایت کی ہے کہ زمین پر اکڑ کر اور اترا کر نہ چلے کیونکہ اس طرح چلنے سے نہ تو زمین پھٹ جائے گی اور نہ ہی سینہ تان کر چلنا تجھے پہاڑوں جتنا بلند کر سکتا ہے۔ گویا غرور اور تکبر کو چھوڑ کر میانہ روی اختیار کرنے کا حکم دیا گیا ہے۔
نہ بہت تیز اور نہ بہت آہستہ، بلکہ درمیانی چال سے چلنا چاہیے کیونکہ یہی شرافت کی علامت ہے۔ یہ تمام بری باتیں اللہ تعالی کو ناپسند ہیں اور انہیں معاشرے میں بھی بری نگاہ سے دیکھا جاتا ہے۔ اس لیے ان باتوں کو چھوڑ دینا چاہیے۔
Allah instructs humans not to walk arrogantly on the earth. Walking with pride does not make the earth split apart, nor can it make a person as tall as the mountains. This shows the futility of arrogance and pride.
Instead, one should walk with humility, neither too fast nor too slow, but with balance and dignity. Such arrogance is disliked by Allah and is looked down upon in society as well. Therefore, these bad habits must be abandoned.
