اے ایمان والو! انصاف پر قائم رہو اور اللہ کے لیے سچی گواہی دو خواہ یہ تمہارے خلاف ہی کیوں نہ ہو، یا والدین اور رشتہ داروں کے خلاف۔ اگر کوئی امیر ہو یا فقیر تو اللہ ان کا زیادہ خیر خواہ ہے۔ پس انصاف میں خواہش کی پیروی نہ کرو۔ اگر تم بات کو توڑ مروڑ دو یا منہ موڑ لو تو بے شک اللہ تمہارے اعمال سے باخبر ہے۔
O believers! Stand firmly for justice, as witnesses for Allah, even if it is against yourselves, your parents, or your close relatives. Whether the person is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So do not follow your desires, so that you may act justly. If you distort or refuse, then surely Allah is fully aware of what you do.
اس آیت میں اللہ تعالیٰ ایمان والوں کو حکم دے رہا ہے کہ وہ ہمیشہ عدل و انصاف پر قائم رہیں۔ چاہے فیصلہ اپنے خلاف ہو یا والدین اور رشتہ داروں کے خلاف۔ امیر و غریب سب کے ساتھ برابر سلوک کیا جائے کیونکہ سب کا اصل خیر خواہ اللہ ہی ہے۔ اس آیت کا مقصد یہ ہے کہ انسان اپنی خواہشات کو چھوڑ کر حق اور انصاف کی گواہی دے، کیونکہ اللہ ہر عمل کو جانتا ہے۔
This verse commands the believers to always uphold justice, even if the judgment goes against themselves, their parents, or close relatives. Both the rich and the poor should be treated equally, as Allah cares for everyone. The purpose of this verse is to remind people not to follow their desires, but to speak and act with fairness. Allah knows everything that people do, whether they try to hide it or not.
